Nov 12, 2009 · If mineral oil is the spec. JCB has a light viscosity oill, it's a ISO VG46. They sell it by the gallon I believe. What most people (myself included) use is Universal Tractor Fluid (UTF for short).If you got a Tractor Supply Co close by, go in and get you some Travellers Universal Tractor Transmission/Hydraulic Fluid.

May 18, 2013 · Re: Replacing JCB brakes. DOT 4 appears to be a no-no in quite a lot of older plant. Probably what made the flexible pipes disintegrate on our Sanderson. Flush plenty of the mineral oil through the system. The old build 5 and I think the early 3CX could use light hydraulic oil in the brake system.
