burning bootloader and uploading program - Nordic Q&A
I ave used nrf52832-dk, JLink programmer, and USB. Have not tried serial or BLE. Last night I did have success burning to an Adafruit Feather nrf52832 using JLink to first run msddisable then burn Bootloader followed by USB uploading program. Unfortunately, I can also use this method to upload to the nrf52832-DK. Hope this gives you some insight.

I started developing on the Adafruit nRF52 module. I wanted to make a custom PCB to demonstrate a prototype and fabricated a board with a MDBT42Q module from Raytac. I sent them my .hex file output from the Arduino compiler and they preloaded it with it. Everything works great, exactly how it did on the Adafruit module. Here's what nRFgo says

This nRF52832 Breakout Board seems to pre-programm with a serial bootloader inside it. If i buy a raw nRF52832 chip and design the circuit by myself, how can i pre-programm the serial bootloader in it?
